Dear Reader

I would be very interested to hear from owners, if they are willing to rent out their apartments at Polaris World. Had anyone experience with that? For how much do they go and what is the procedure?

I am thinking about putting up a page on this blog for owners to advertise their property for rent (free of charge). Do you think that is a good idea?

I love going out for dinner. I assume many of you do as well. Anyone can recommend  really good restaurants in the area? I mean something really exceptional. Restaurants for special occasions and unforgettable evenings?

I am personally very much interessted in classy restaurants with Asian cuisine, especially Thai and Japaneese but also Swiss and French, any Ideas?

Okay, the first post here with a bit of concern. I have come across  a post on a forum whereby somebody claims he can not complete his purchase at Polaris World because the necessary habitation certificate was not available.

Here the original posting:

well what a let down at 5.30 last night to be told by our solicitor we can not complete as Polaris have not got the habitation certificate!! snagging was taking place today and completion should of been on Monday. We are not completing on Monday on the advise of our solicitor but we did go ahead with the snagging which to our surprise went really well.

For those who are not familiar with this:  The habitation Certificates are issued by the Town Hall,  to confirm that the property is fit to be lived in. It is similar to the ones builders have to get on new properties in the UK.

It looks like this man was not the only one who had that same problem. It is apparently due to the fact that they have one inspector for the whole of Polaris World and there are hundreds of completions to be made

here the original discussion

Anyone had similar experience?
